International Visitors to Primex

Primex received a number of International visitors in 2009 with interest in both the traditional trade stands and the more diverse industries that make Primex unique in its coverage of Australian primary industry. Primex 2009 hosted 935 trade displays incorporating equipment, livestock, machinery, technology & the service sectors, with almost 60,000 visitors attending.

Recently reported countries visiting Primex have identified China, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, New Caledonia, New Zealand, the Philippines and Russian representatives on associated business and fact finding missions.

Primex has appointed Quadrant Australia, an inbound tour operator specializing in agriculture, with worldwide co-operators and colleagues who have similar agriculture in their home country and has close linkages with national and international agencies and organizations enabling an effective program to operate in bringing trade groups to Australia.

Two International Airports within 3 driving hours of Primex (Gold Coast less than 2 driving hours & Brisbane), up to Five Star Accommodation and the ability to transfer visitors by helicopter to iconic destinations such as Byron Bay, Tweed and Gold Coasts'(less than 20 minutes travel time) means that all the needs of the International Guests are covered.

Registration & International visitor packs are available to International delegations with a designated International Lounge on-site at Primex offering private meeting areas and communications services that can provide hospitality and exclusive service requirements. A networking function will be held at Casino to provide the opportunity for all international representatives and their buyers to meet directly with the leading agribusiness exporters and stakeholders exhibiting at Primex and located throughout the Region.
