Exhibition Marketing Pty Ltd was first established in 1983 and has become one of the most successful Exhibition & Events Company’s operating in NSW & Qld within all facets of Exhibition with management of all project, marketing, sales, logistical and promotional activities.
Founder Mr. John Wright, first established the Company while still associated with the Hire Industry and initiated events incorporating Catering & Hospitality, Boating & Leisure, Finance and Agricultural. The later, originally known as the Eastern Australian Rural Trade Expo was launched in 1985 with his son, Mr. Bruce Wright becoming involved in the events of Sales and Marketing in 1989. Since this time, the renamed Primex has grown from strength to strength as one of Australia’s most diverse and fastest growing field days.
In 2000 Bruce Wright was appointed by the Australian Rugby Union as Project Manager for the now famous “Bill’s Back Tour” with the concept of a traveling Exhibition presented by Bruce to the ARU in early 1999 before the successful win by the Wallabies of the 1999 Rugby World Cup in Wales. The promotion operated in a program to celebrate the success of winning back the William Webb Ellis Cup and went on to become a key component in the leveraging of additional events such as the Bledisloe Cup and Tri Nations Series, The British & Irish Lions Tour and 2003 Rugby World Cup, while also used in the growing of the game with programs such as TryRugby.
Most recently, Exhibition Marketing has also undertaken key Catering and Hospitality events in association with a Food Wholesaler to operate specialized Catering Exhibitions throughout the regional centres of Australia’s East Coast. This has included Cairns, Townsville, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Ballina and Port Macquarie. |
