Within the immediate Primex catchment, the forecast for the Far North Coast Region population in the next 25 years is expected to grow more than 26% to 289,000, while by 2031, the Mid North Coast population is expected to grow by 27% from 333,400 to around 424,000, according to the NSW Department of Planning.

This also equates to the Far North Coast having to cater for 60,400 more people by 2031, with 51,000 additional homes needed. There is a similar forecast for the Mid North Coast where up to 58,400 new homes may be needed by 2031 to cater for a forecast population increase of 91,000.

The NSW Department of Planning also identifies that the Far North Coast will also need to support 32,500 extra jobs, while around 2500 people are settling in this Region each year.

The North Coast is therefore one of the fastest growing Rural Regions in Australia and with such a close proximity to South East Queensland and the continuing development of infrastructure including the Pacific Highway now more efficiently connecting the North Coast to SE Qld, the focus on Real Estate throughout the North Coast has never so pertinent.
