PRIMEX CHAROLAIS CHARBRAY CLASSIC

The capacity of the Charolais to produce meat efficiently and at an early age have made the breed very attractive to the vealer market. Charolais cross superiority in growth rate and carcase quality with appropriate fat cover is most evident in early life, this eminently suiting the breed for vealer production.

A trip to your local saleyards and you will observe Charolais bulls have been crossed with most beef and dairy female breeds. A great example of crossbreeding is the now ‘breed in their own right’, The Charbray.

The Primex Charolais Charbray Classic is in its inaugural year and the vendors see it as a yearly Charolais/Charbray feature show and sale. Current vendors have won broad ribbons at all major shows in Australia.

With the ever increasing Charolais/Charbray membership in the local area, the Classic will only grow. The sale is open to all local breeders.

Adjudicators will guarantee that only quality cattle will be put forward for sale plus the stock guaranteed as breeders.
