Primex When and Where

Primex is a 3 day Exhibition held annually in June, starting the first Thursday following the Queen's Birthday long weekend and concluding on the Saturday.

Primex is held annually at Casino, in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales and is considered as one of Australia's leading country centres. The town straddles the Richmond River which encompasses a range of attractions that make the wider Northern Rivers and North Coast Region such a unique part of Australia.

The location of Primex at Casino, places the Exhibition in a strategic “Hub” connecting north – south corridors of the Pacific highway (Sydney – Brisbane), Summerland Way – Mt Lindesay Highway (Grafton- Brisbane) and New England highways (Armidale-Brisbane) with the east-west corridor of the Bruxner Highway running through Casino and linking the Northern Rivers through to the tablelands via Tenterfield.

Are you a local or visitor of Primex staying in Casino? Why not walk or cycle to the event. Save money on fuel and reduce greenhouse gas emissions while taking part in some health exercise.

By Car

Primex and Casino are easily accessed by road, with travel times from Lismore (20 minutes), Ballina (60 minutes), Coolangatta (90 minutes) and Brisbane (160 minutes). Download Street Map

Travel by car up the Pacific Highway to Grafton, and either continue on the Highway to Evans Head and Broadwater or take the Summerland Way north to Rappville and Casino, before heading east to explore Coraki, Woodburn and Evans Head.

Do you know someone heading to Primex? Why not consider carpooling? It will halve your fuel costs and greenhouse gas emissions. The average car emits around 300g of CO2 for every kilometre travelled.
