The Best Presentation of Site Awards at Primex recognizes to time, imagination and commitment to investment by Exhibitors towards presenting the best possible display of their products, services and technologies. The acknowledgement by Primex to its exhibitors is an acknowledgment of the efforts made, that contribute to the overall atmosphere and quality of exhibition Primex can offer to its visitors.

 

There has been an expansion of the categories to reflect the diversity of display large and small that make Primex one of the most appealing primary industry exhibitions in Australia and we remain dedicated to offering this program and our Exhibitors with the opportunity to create an attractive and interactive site that not only appeals to the imagination of our visitors and in doing so, fits the fundamental criteria listed and ultimately generates interest, enquiries and sales at Primex.

 

Primex has expanded the number of categories that are evaluated, using independent judges that will follow general criteria based on the following:

 

  • Product relevancy.
  • Staff being friendly, identifiable and approachable.
  • Site visibly appealing.
  • Novelty and originality – Does this site stand out?
  • Cooperation with staff and adherence to Exhibiting Conditions.
  • Site safety.

 

Judging of Best Presentation of Site Awards is undertaken during Primex and can include the following award categories:

 

  • Best small/medium (5m & 10m) outdoor site.
  • Best medium (15m frontage) outdoor site.
  • Best large (Multiple) outdoor site.
  • Best indoor (Pavilion) Site.
  • Best Presentation of Breed/Stud Beef Exhibit (Earle Bulmer Memorial Shield includes 2nd & 3rd place).
  • Best Presented Tractor/Agricultural Machinery Exhibit.
  • Best Presented Motor Show Exhibit.
  • Sustainability: Best Sustainable Product Displayed (pre-registration only)
  • Sustainability: Most Sustainable Exhibit at Primex (pre-registration only)
  • Best Presented Road Transport Exhibit.
  • Best Presented Heavy Machinery Exhibit.

 

The Alf Fletcher Memorial Trophy


Alf Fletcher was grounds man and caretaker at Primex for two decades, always on hand to assist the organizers and exhibitors alike, with a quiet and no nonsense approach to getting the job done. Alf love being a part of Primex and the Organizers wish to keep Alf’s involvement in Primex alive through this special Award.


The Inaugural (2011) Alf Fletcher Memorial Trophy is to be awarded to a Primex exhibitor, which contributes most to the spirit of the Primex Field Days, with a preference that they be a business located within the Northern Rivers area.

The trophy plus $1,100 (GST inclusive) towards their following years Primex site will be awarded to the winner of this category.

 

The Earle Bulmer Memorial Shield


Earle Bulmer was one Primex’s biggest supporters as an exhibitor, member of the local Council and recognized leader in the Region’s Beef Industry and a Life Member of the Australian Brahman Breeders Association. The Earle Bulmer Memorial Shield is presented to the winner of the Best presentation of Beef Breed / Stud amongst 20 Breeds and Studs display within the Pacific Beef Trade Expo annually at Primex Field Days and by Mrs. Lyn Bulmer.

 

An independent judging panel will review and assess all exhibits in accordance with the criteria set by the organizers (Exhibition Marketing) and conducted over the course of the first and part of the second day of Primex. Award Winners will be announced on the Friday afternoon including formal presentations. The organizers reserve the right to change any category without notice and the organizers decision is final.
