What is Primex Field Days?

Primex Field Days is the largest and most comprehensive agricultural and industry exhibition in Northern NSW, bringing together producers, businesses, machinery suppliers, innovation leaders, educators and regional services across three days of demonstrations, displays and industry engagement.

Since 1985, Primex has connected agriculture and regional communities while showcasing the future of farming, production and regional enterprise.

How long should I allow to visit?

Most visitors allow half a day to a full day. Many choose to attend across multiple days due to the scale of exhibits and activities.

Tickets are available:

  • At the gate during event opening hours

Online purchase provides the best value pricing and faster entry.


Are tickets available at the gate?

Yes. Tickets can be purchased at entry gates during the event.

Please note:

  • Online tickets offer the best pricing
  • Gate purchases may experience queues during peak arrival periods
  • Buying online helps ensure faster access

Is there an Early Bird option?

Yes. Early Bird tickets conclude:
12:01am Monday 18 May 2026

Where can I stay?

Accommodation is available throughout Lismore and the Northern Rivers region including hotels, motels, caravan parks, farm stays and short-stay accommodation.
Early booking is recommended.

Travel, parking & shuttles

Is parking available?

Yes. In partnership with Lismore Show Society, Lismore City Council and the NSW Government, traffic planning is in place.

Former Richmond River High School Sports Grounds
Access via:

  • Alexandra Parade

A 1-kilometre shuttle service will transport visitors between the car park and Southern Gates.


Shuttle Bus Services

Shuttle services will operate between designated pick-up locations and Primex entry points.

Times and locations will be published prior to the event via website and communications.

No parking permitted on Winterton Parade near southern access.

What should I wear?

Primex is primarily outdoors. Comfortable footwear and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended.

Is Primex an all-weather event?

Yes — rain, hail or shine.

Is Primex suitable for families?

Yes. Primex includes family-friendly displays, activities and experiences.

A wide range of food vendors operate onsite through the Nourish and Paddock to Plate program.


Can I bring food?

Yes. Food and water permitted.

Yes. Many exhibitors offer products and event specials for purchase or order.

Yes, during all opening hours.

Facilities including accessible amenities are located throughout the site.


How can I pay?

Most vendors accept EFTPOS/card payments. Cash may not be accepted everywhere.


Mobile coverage

Coverage is generally available but may vary during peak attendance.


Lost property

Available at the Event Information Point.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are not permitted.

Only certified assistance animals (service dogs) are allowed under Australian access regulations.

Are drones permitted?

Private drone use is not permitted without written approval.

Photography

Personal photography permitted. Commercial filming requires approval.

As Primex enters a new era at the Lismore Showgrounds, the event continues supporting communities across the North Coast region.
