Beef cattle are a principal focus of the Primex livestock program, reflecting the importance of the beef industry across Northern NSW and Southern Queensland.
Primex brings together stud breeders, commercial producers, breed societies, livestock businesses and industry organisations to showcase livestock, genetics, breeding programs, products and services, while building valuable industry and commercial connections.
Alongside beef cattle, Primex welcomes participation from dairy, sheep, goats, pigs, poultry and other livestock enterprises, reflecting the diversity of our regional agricultural industries.

Breeding, genetics and commercial beef production are central to the Primex livestock showcase.
Primex encourages stud breeders, breed societies and commercial producers to exhibit cattle, promote breed characteristics and breeding programs, and engage directly with producers, buyers, livestock agents and the wider agricultural industry.
Opportunities include breed displays, livestock showcases, industry presentations and the development of breed recognition and championship activities, subject to industry participation and confirmed arrangements.
