The Primex Excellence Awards have been established to recognise exhibitors who demonstrate outstanding presentation, innovation, professionalism and visitor engagement while contributing to the continued success and reputation of Primex Field Days.
More than simply recognising outstanding displays, the awards encourage exhibitors to continually raise the standard of participation, creating a better experience for visitors while strengthening business outcomes for exhibitors themselves.
Participation is voluntary and open to all eligible exhibitors.

The Primex Excellence Awards aim to:
- Recognise excellence in exhibition presentation.
- Encourage innovation and creativity.
- Reward outstanding customer engagement.
- Enhance the visitor experience.
- Celebrate businesses investing in the future of Australian agriculture and regional industries.
- Promote exhibitors before, during and after the event.
- Build a culture of continual improvement across Primex.

🏆 Primex Excellence Award
Best Overall Exhibit
Presented to the exhibitor demonstrating the highest standard of overall presentation, innovation, professionalism and visitor engagement.
🏆 Alf Fletcher Memorial Shield
Spirit of Primex Award
Awarded to the exhibitor who best reflects what the values, professionalism, community spirit, collaboration and commitment are, that have helped shape Primex over almost half a century .
🏆 Earle Bulmer Memorial Shield
Best Presentation of Beef Breed
Recognising excellence in the presentation and promotion of beef cattle breed / stud.
🏆 Best Outdoor Exhibit
Recognising excellence in outdoor exhibition presentation.
🏆 Best Pavilion Exhibit
Recognising excellence in indoor exhibition presentation.
🏆 Innovation Award
Recognising outstanding innovation, technology, product development or creative presentation.
🏆 Visitor Experience Award
Presented to the exhibitor providing the most engaging, educational and interactive visitor experience.
🏆 People’s Choice Award
Chosen by visitors through public voting conducted throughout the event.
WHO CAN ENTER?
Entry is open to all exhibitors participating at Primex Field Days 2027.
Participation is voluntary. Exhibitors simply nominate during the booking process or prior to the commencement of the event.
There is no additional entry fee.
OFFICIAL NOMINEES
Every nominated exhibitor will receive recognition as an:
Official Nominee – Norco Primex Excellence Awards 2027
Official Nominees will receive:
- Recognition on the Primex website.
- Inclusion in promotional communications.
- Official nominee digital graphics for use across websites and social media.
- Site identification during the event.
JUDGING CRITERIA
All nominated exhibits will be assessed against a consistent judging framework.

The independent judging panel will assess each nominated exhibit using these published criteria to ensure a transparent and consistent process.
INDEPENDENT JUDGING PANEL
The Norco Primex Excellence Awards will be assessed by an Independent Judging Panel comprising respected representatives from industry, business, agriculture, media and regional development.
The panel has been established to ensure a transparent, professional and consistent judging process.
JUDGING TIMELINE
Prior to the Event
Exhibitors nominate during the booking process.
Official Nominees are progressively recognised through Primex communications and promotional channels.
Thursday 20 May 2027
Judging continues throughout the day.
Thursday Afternoon
The shortlisted finalists are announced across the Primex website, media and social media channels.
Friday 21 May 2027
Final judging is completed.
Award winners are announced during the Norco Primex Business Networking Function.
Professional photography, interviews and media coverage will follow the presentations.
People's Choice Award
Voting remains open throughout the full three-day event and closes at the official conclusion of Norco Primex Field Days on Saturday 22 May 2027.
The People’s Choice Award will be announced on the following Monday, extending the celebration of the event and recognising the exhibitor who captured the greatest support from visitors.

A Nominee Pack will be made available to every entrant and include:
- an Official Nominee corflute or window decal for their site;
- a digital logo for websites, email signatures and social media;
- guidance on the judging criteria; and
- a short “Excellence Checklist” to help exhibitors maximise their presentation.
