Koppers is sponsoring this years North Coast Axemen’s Association woodchopping competition season, with axemen competing in an extensive events schedule across the North Coast NSW. Some of the guys also featured at the Royal Easter Show in Sydney this year. There are multiple disciplines & styles that will be demonstrated, so if you enjoy woodchop action come on by.
Woodchopping is a thrilling sport that combines strength, precision, and tradition, and takes centre stage during various events. Axemen and women, standing atop boards at dizzying heights, wield their axes with skill and stamina. Take a look at Jindi! Jindi is a 3D-printed building that completes the loop in the circular economy by using recycled plastic as its primary raw material, which is then coated inside and out with a thin layer of special basalt-reinforced cement. Jindi is designed to solve the affordable housing crisis by consuming waste plastic. The self-supporting parametric design has undergone extensive testing by our engineering partners at Southern Cross University ReCirculator, with outstanding results.

We are offering free Health & Lifestyle Assessments to all field day patrons. A Health & Lifestyle Assessment is a comprehensive 20-minute health assessment conducted by trained agrihealth professionals. It includes a lifestyle survey covering health behaviours, farm practices, and social and emotional wellbeing. The assessment also includes cholesterol, blood glucose, and blood pressure readings along with diabetes risk, height, weight, waist measurement and eyesight testing.
The Health and Lifestyle Assessment provides farmers and agricultural workers with knowledge and tools to improve their health, wellbeing and safety. All participants receive a health passport with their results, and take-home resources, supporting them to make positive health and safety choices. Read More >
