Lismore Showgrounds Chasing Grant Funding to Become Event Centre of Northern Rivers 1st June 2026 As the dust settles on Gemfest and Primex for 2026, North Coast National is turning its attention to future improvements to the Lismore Showgrounds to make it the Event Centre of the Northern Rivers that can continue to attract and host major events in our region.

Inaugural Norco Primex in Lismore a Major Success 29th May 2026 The inaugural Norco Primex Field Days at Lismore attracted more than 30,000 attendees with preliminary analysis indicating a $7 million+ windfall for the entire region and sales expected to advance over $60 million following the event. Norco Primex director Bruce Wright said early exhibitor and visitor feedback was very encouraging with the new location and infrastructure at the Lismore Showgrounds highly rated.
